IMAGE: A Cutting-Edge Postgraduate Program

IMAGE is an innovative, full-time postgraduate program at CAD, running for one year and offering 60 ECTS credits. Graduates obtain a M.A. degree, accredited by both CAD and Collège de Paris, making it internationally recognized in over 180 countries.

This hands-on program, taught in-person by industry professionals, offers approximately 25 hours of courses per week.

The curriculum is divided into two semesters and focuses on mastering a wide array of visual content creation tools.

First Semester:

Classes begin on October 6th
In the first semester, you will develop foundational skills in:

  • Storytelling & Cinema
  • Animation & Motion Design
  • Modelisation 3D
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Narrative Character Drawing
  • Sound Design
  • Lighting
  • Editing Techniques

Second Semester:

The second semester emphasizes collaboration and advanced project work. You will:

  • Work in teams to develop a full-scale brand campaign (identity, digital strategy, visual content)

The semester culminates in a final jury presentation and networking opportunities with top communication agencies.

6-Month Internship:

6 months in an advertising/communication/digital design/agency/graphic studio… to do after the end of the academic year.

TUITION :

 Please note: there are only 12 places maximum available.

EU Students :

The tuition fees are 9,500 EUR per year (9,200 EUR + 300 EUR registration fee*) :

  • 300 EUR + 3,100 EUR i.e. 3,400 EUR (1st third of costs) payable upon registration
  • 3,050 EUR (2nd third of costs) paid by June 30th
  • 3,050 EUR (Final third of costs) paid by September 15th

A staggered payment plan is possible for some residents (upon acceptance and subject to a surcharge of 300 EUR).

Non EU Students :

11,000 EUR per year (10,700 EUR + 300 EUR registration fee*)
The total amount must be paid at the time of final registration in order to start the visa procedure if required.

For international transfers, bank fees are payable by the sender.

Tuition fees do not include cultural visits and study trips.

*Registration fee: this amount covers general administrative costs as well as individual insurance (taken out by the CAD) in case of any accident on the school premises.

Remarks
– The CAD does not accept bank cheques. Tuition fees must be paid into one of the school’s bank accounts. For international transfers, bank charges are at the expense of the originator.
– Tuition fees remain as announced at the time of registration for the entire programme (except for students repeating the first year, if the price increases) unless inflation exceeds 5% per year, in which case the fees will be indexed.
– Since the number of students admitted each year is limited, the full tuition fee is due even in case of withdrawal or exclusion from the course.

In France, Switzerland and Belgium, privateinstitutions cannot use the words Bachelor their programmes. We therefore use the terms Undergraduates 1° CYCLE (3 years – 180 ECTS) B.A. Note that these diplomas are equivalent to Bachelor’s degrees, but are not state- approved diplomas.
