Student receives a copy of the regulations at the beginning of every academic year at CAD.
He commits to reading the rules carefully as soon as he receives them.

1. REGISTRATION

The 300 EUR annual registration fee is due at registration, once the candidate is accepted.
It covers, among other things, general administrative costs as well as the CAD’s medical
insurance in case of accidents (see regulations for the limit).
The registration fee is non-refundable, under any circumstances.

2. TUITION FEES

EU Students
FULL TIME COURSES
The annual tuition fee is 9,500 EUR (9,200 EUR + 300 EUR for registration).

PART TIME COURSES
The annual tuition fee is 4,500 EUR (4,200 EUR + 300 EUR for registration).

Note, however, that there is a possibility to pay in three installments over a longer period for
some Belgian residents (upon acceptance of the dossier).

Non EU Students
FULL TIME COURSES
The annual tuition fee is 11,000 EUR (10,700 EUR + 300 EUR for registration).

PART TIME COURSES
The annual tuition fee is 5,300 EUR (5,000 EUR + 300 EUR for registration).

1. Once the candidate is accepted, an initial payment of 300 EUR (registration) and the first
third of the tuition fee is required.
2. The second installment is due by June 30th, 2026 and the final one by September 15th, 2026.
3. The installments could be adjusted according to the date of admission of the student
and/or the possession of his high school/secondary diploma (equivalent to the CESS or
BACCALAUREAT).

The total costs are then increased by 300 EUR :
1. 300 EUR + first third of the yearly tuition fee upon admission,
2. second installment (2nd third of tuition fee) for December 15th, 2026,
3. last installment for March 15th, 2027
Non-UE students must pay the entirety of the annual tuition fees to obtain a school
certificate to apply for a VISA.
In case of final refusal to deliver a “student visa”, after the appeal process,
the CAD will refund the prepaid amount to the candidate minus 1,300 EUR, for administrative
costs (300 EUR + 1.000 EUR), under the following conditions:
1) Provision of a written proof emanating from the Belgian diplomatic authorities (original letter),
specifying the reason for refusal after the appeal process.
2) The candidate has followed all instructions and requirements emanating from the Belgian diplo
matic authorities as well as from CAD; correctly, honestly and in due time to obtain his/her visa.
Tuition fees must be paid by bank transfer (or cash). Bank fees are carried by the account
holder. The CAD does not accept checks.

As the CAD only admits a limited number of students every year, college fees must be paid in
their entirety, even if a student chooses to discontinue his/her studies for whatever reason
in the course of the academic year. Should money still be owed, it should be paid within
eight days following the end of the student’s attendance.
The guarantor on the registration form is personally responsible for payment of the entire
college fees. Furthermore, he declares that, if he is not the student’s guardian himself, he
has obtained the consent of the student’s guardians.
The present conditions remain unchanged throughout the years, even if only one form is
signed at the beginning of the program; additionally, it still applies if the student changes
sections in the course of his/her studies (except for students who repeat their first year,
should the fees increase). Should inflation exceed five percent a year, though, registration
and college fees would be indexed accordingly.

3. SCHEDULE

Classes are scheduled from Monday until Friday, between 9.15 and 17.15.
Premises open 10 minutes before the beginning of each class / workshop.

4. CERTIFICATES

CAD delivers the appropriate certificates to families entitled to child benefit. We also fill in
documents for transport season tickets, etc. Registration and attendance certificates are
only delivered after payment of the registration fees (and of the full college fees for non-EU
students).

5. INSURANCE

Students are covered by a medical insurance in case of accidents within the CAD premises
as well as during travels and activities organised by the school. They are also covered during
internships in Belgium and abroad (see regulations for the limit).

6. STUDENT ID

Students receive a student ID card at the beginning of each academic year; this ID is perso
nal and cannot be lent to a third party. In case of abuse, it may be taken away.

7. CURRICULUM

The curriculum, schedule and holidays can be changed at all times by the CAD, especially
to better adapt to the realities of professional life and to the availabilities of students and
teachers. Should they occur, these changes will be posted and expected to be known by all.

8. PENAL CLAUSE

In case of litigations, the Brussels tribunals or, failing that, the justice of Brussels’ sixth can-
ton, are the only competent authorities. Should any payment still be due eight days after the
deadline, an annual 12 percent interest will be charged until payment of the full amount. An
additional amount of 15% of the legal fees with a minimum of 125 EUR will also be charged
for compensation, without needing a formal notice.
This sum may be claimed for each payment that is not received within eight days of the
deadline. Students may also be suspended from classes until the full amount has been paid.

9. EXTRACT FROM CAD REGULATIONS

-Students are required to regularly attend the classes and activities included in their chosen
curriculum. Attendance is taken by the teacher at the beginning of each class.
Students must arrive at their various activities and classes on time. A delay of more than 15
minutes will be marked as an absence for the class. Classes must be attended to the end.

In case of illness, students are required to contact the secretary’s office and to send
a medical certificate one day, at the latest, after the first day of absence. A medical
certificate is the only valid justification for missing classes. Students must, nevertheless,
catch up with their work and turn in ALL assignments and exams in order to be admitted
to the next year (exceptions are rare and subject to approval by the special cases committee).
Absent students must make arrangements so that their assignments are turned in within
the deadline indicated on the timetable. In case of prolonged illness, the deadline may be
extended by the same number of days as are covered by the medical certificate. This disposition
doesn’t apply when a student falls ill the day before a deadline. In this case, he has to find a way to
deliver his work to the CAD by the given deadline.

The CAD allows students to take leave for a maximum of four half-days (16 hours)
every quarter for serious reasons other than medical (such as the death of a relative,
registration at the commune, a summons to the police or appointments for gas &
electricity, etc.).
A student who has not attended all of the classes or who has absented himself or herself
without serious reasons and abusively may be denied the right to sit for the jury at the end
of the year by the Direction. Similarly, the student who has been absent even for personal
reasons more than 6 half-days (24 hours) per quarter or 18 half-days (72 hours) over the
whole year may be permanently excluded.

– Students are responsible for their personal belongings, which must be carefully marked
with their names. They are also responsible for the equipment lent by the CAD, which
must be put away in its proper place after each use. Students will be required to pay for
any damage. Students must take care not to leave any valuables unattended as the CAD
declines any responsibility in case of theft within the premises.

– In application of the CAD’s secular principle, signs or clothes clearly expressing religious
beliefs are forbidden. Students are not allowed to stay in any of the premises, except the
hall and the cafeteria, in the absence of a member of the staff.

– Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the school’s premises.

– Students are required to come in and out in a quiet, orderly fashion. This rule also applies
in the entrance buildings and in the CAD’s immediate vicinity. Students are obliged to
respect parking rules on the street. The CAD is keen to maintain good relations with its
neighbours as well as a good outside reputation.

– All work produced by the student as part of the CAD is the material property of the CAD. The
Student hereby irrevocably assigns to the CAD all the economic rights belonging to or lin-
ked to the creations/works/realizations made by the Student within the framework of the
CAD, namely the exploitation rights, including but not limited to: the right of reproduction
on any known or unknown medium, the right of representation and the right of adaptation.
This assignment is valid for all modes of exploitation, for the whole world and for the entire
duration of the legal protection of the intellectual rights deriving from Belgian law or any
other foreign law or international treaties, present or future, and allows the CAD to exploit
the creations in any way and in any form whatsoever, whether they are already known or
unknown, including by assigning the intellectual rights to a third party. The consideration
for this transfer is the training provided to the student.
– The student therefore agrees not to exploit his or her work in any way. Nevertheless, the
CAD may, in certain circumstances, grant the student exceptional authorization to exploit
his or her work under conditions to be determined by mutual agreement.
– The school reserves the right to evict any student guilty of seriously infringing internal
regulations. The complete college fees would still be due.
– All present dispositions can be changed at any time and with no prior notice. For matters
not included in the present general conditions, the Dean and administration are the only
competent authorities and their decisions are without appeal.
