At the CAD,

first year students are able to create every kind of animations.

1 year – 60 ECTS – MDes cycle master

By definition, motion design is an abbreviation of the English expression “Motion Graphics Design”. If we translate this term, we understand that it is about bringing graphic elements to life. In some cases, we see texts in motion – but we can have fun bringing shapes, pictograms, photos and all kinds of illustrations to life.

Practical for conveying a message, fun, aesthetic and up-to-date, motion design is of interest to more and more professionals in the world of video, as well as major brands and companies. The demand for experts in Motion Design is increasing rapidly. These animations are used for advertising films, interface animations (web, mobile, etc.), video productions (music clips, film credits, etc.) or to create graphic universes in different fields (visual identities, video games, etc. …).

The CAD has set up a very technical one-year training course giving graphic designers all the tools they need to master these new techniques, which are very popular with design studios or specialized agencies. This certifying formation of at least one year can be extended to a second year including an internship in a company and give students the opportunity to validate a Master’s degree (postgraduate)

The CAD is an international institution. The classes are taught in English allowing our students to obtain internships abroad, take part in international workshops and get acquainted with foreign cultures through cultural visits and trips organized each year.

All those international experiences give the opportunity to our students to pursue international careers all over the word (USA, Brazil, Australia, Thailand, China…. and all the European countries).

Classes begin late September. A Summer School is organized in September (3-weeks courses in both Drawing and English) for those whose levels in drawing and/or English need improvement. The decision to participate in these courses or not is made by the direction during the interview process.
